QueenBee is designed to minimize data collection. At this time, QueenBee may access:
- Contacts that you choose to import into the app.
- Information you manually enter, such as trusted contacts and message templates.
- Basic app settings and preferences stored on your device.
- Your device's location, only if you choose to use the Send My Location feature.
QueenBee does not collect sensitive health information, financial information, or personal identifiers beyond what you voluntarily provide.
How Your Information Is Used
Information within QueenBee is used solely to:
- Display your trusted contacts.
- Store your message templates.
- Support the functionality of the app.
- Maintain your selected app preferences.
- Generate a location link sent to a contact you choose, if you use Send My Location.
Data Storage
At this time, QueenBee stores information locally on your device. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising purposes.
Contact Access
If you choose to import contacts, QueenBee requests permission to access your contacts through Apple's permission system. QueenBee only accesses contact information necessary to help you select trusted contacts within the app. You may revoke contact access at any time through your device settings.
Location Access
If you choose to use the Send My Location feature, QueenBee requests permission to access your device's location. Your location is used solely to generate a maps link sent via Apple Messages to a contact you select. QueenBee does not store, transmit, or log your location data. You may revoke location access at any time through your device settings.
Third-Party Services
QueenBee may rely on Apple-provided services, including:
- Apple Watch integration
- Apple Messages
- Apple operating system features
Use of these services is governed by Apple's own privacy policies and terms.
Children's Privacy
QueenBee is not directed toward children under the age of 13.
Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information stored within the app. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

- Send harassing, threatening, or unlawful messages to others.
- Misuse or abuse Apple services or operating system features.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or distribute the app without authorization.
Your Content
You are responsible for the message templates, contact information, and other content you enter into QueenBee. QueenBee does not review, monitor, or control the content of messages sent through Apple Messages or other Apple services.
Contact and Location Permissions
QueenBee requests access to your contacts and location only as described in our Privacy Policy and only with your explicit permission through Apple's system. You may revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings.
Apple Platform
QueenBee is distributed through the Apple App Store and is subject to Apple's Terms of Service. Apple is not responsible for QueenBee or its content. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service, Apple's terms will govern with respect to App Store usage.
Disclaimers
QueenBee is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose.
QueenBee is not a substitute for emergency services. If you are in immediate danger, please contact emergency services (911 or your local equivalent) directly.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, QueenBee and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app.

When will QueenBee be available? +
QueenBee is currently in development and coming soon to the App Store. Email us at queenbeeapp@proton.me to be notified when it launches.
Does QueenBee work on Apple Watch? +
Yes — the Apple Watch app is a core part of QueenBee. It lets you reach your trusted contacts directly from your wrist, even when your phone isn't nearby.
How does Send My Location work? +
When you use Send My Location, QueenBee accesses your device's location (with your permission) and generates a maps link that is sent to a contact you select via Apple Messages. QueenBee does not store or log your location — it's used only in that moment to create the link.
Does QueenBee store my contacts or messages? +
No. All information — your contacts, message templates, and preferences — is stored locally on your device. QueenBee does not send your data to any external server or third party.
Can I revoke permissions I've granted? +
Yes. You can revoke contact and location access at any time through your iPhone's Settings app under Privacy & Security. QueenBee will continue to work for features that don't require those permissions.
Is QueenBee an emergency service? +
No. QueenBee is not a substitute for emergency services. If you are in immediate danger, please contact 911 or your local emergency number directly. QueenBee is designed to supplement your support network, not replace professional emergency response.
