Bee Still Hive Sanctuary Agreement

A shared understanding for all those who enter the Hive.

Bee Still Hive was created as a sanctuary for women and anyone who identifies with womanhood — a place where rest, gentleness, and quiet are honored as essential forms of nourishment. To protect the energy of the space and ensure every guest feels held, safe, and supported, we ask all guests to read and agree to the following Sanctuary Agreement before completing a booking.

These guidelines apply to all Hives within the Bee Still Hive network.

1. Who This Space Is For

Bee Still Hive welcomes:

  • Women

  • Trans women

  • Nonbinary and gender-expansive people who identify with womanhood

  • Small women’s groups or circles gathering for rest, reflection, or retreat

This is not a space for:

  • Mixed-gender groups

  • Parties

  • High-traffic gatherings

  • Stays organized for purposes misaligned with rest, healing, or quiet

Each Hive is designed to be a sanctuary. We protect that intention with care.

2. Sanctuary Atmosphere

Guests agree to uphold a gentle, restorative environment, including:

  • No loud music

  • No parties or events

  • No disruptive or high-traffic behaviors

  • Respect for other Hives and shared land when present on the property

  • Honoring quiet hours between 9 pm and 8 am

Every guest is entrusted with helping maintain the energetic stillness of the Hive.

3. Respect for the Land and Space

Guests agree to:

  • Treat the home, furniture, and grounds with respect

  • Use trails and shared spaces with mindfulness

  • Leave the Hive in a reasonable state of tidiness

  • Follow host instructions for care, trash, parking, and fire safety

  • Use fire pits only as directed

  • Refrain from entering any areas not designated for guest access

This land is a living part of the sanctuary. We ask guests to move through it with reverence.

4. Safety & Privacy

To ensure the safety, comfort, and privacy of all guests and hosts:

  • Only registered guests may stay overnight

  • No unregistered visitors are permitted

  • Hosts may decline bookings that do not align with the sanctuary mission

  • Guests may be asked to leave without refund if policies are violated

This space exists because women deserve places where they can feel fully safe.

5. Substance Use

Light, respectful use of alcohol is permitted.
Parties, excessive drinking, and any form of drug use that disrupts the sanctuary atmosphere are not allowed.

6. Photography & Social Media

Guests are welcome to photograph their space for personal use.
However:

  • No commercial photography

  • No location tagging to protect the privacy of the sanctuary

  • No recording of other guests or hosts without consent

The Hive protects the privacy of all who enter.

7. Cancellations & Changes

Each Hive has its own cancellation policy.
By booking, guests agree to the cancellation terms outlined by the specific Hive they are visiting.

8. Our Shared Intention

Bee Still Hive is a network of restorative spaces created by women, for women. Each stay is a small radical act — a reclaiming of rest, slowness, and belonging.

By completing a booking request, you acknowledge and agree to honor the mission, values, and boundaries of the Hive.
